Quinn stopped over to admire
Quinn stopped over to admire the new carpeting on Grandma and Grandpa's patio this morning.
She was very pleased with how it came out!
Now we're listening to her cousin Maureen practice her speech for graduation tonight. Well, we're going to as soon as Maureen finishes changing Quinn's diaper. She may be class president, but she's not above touching dirty diapers, God bless her.

Mother's Day
Andy and I have woken Quinn up twice now, laughing at the Osbournes. She's getting pretty annoyed.
Quinn enjoyed Mother's Day brunch. Mmmm!

Curiously deaf
Things Quinn slept through today:
*The window in my office blowing in and shattering into a million pieces
*Andy and my brother-in-law Denny pounding nails into the plywood that is now where the window in my office once was
*My wailing (and, my friends, I do mean WAILING) during the last 15 minutes of tonight's "ER"
Things Quinn didn't sleep through today:
*The pilot light went out on our heater (or something like that) and it got kind of cold in the house. I was engrossed in classmates.com while on the phone with my college roommate Anne, and we were giggling (and, my friends, I do mean GIGGLING) over the people we were searching for, so I didn't notice. At about 9:30 p.m., Quinn started calling from her bedroom. If her sounds were words, this is what she would have been saying:
HEY!
I'M COLD!
WOULD SOMEONE COME IN HERE?
MY HANDS ARE COLD! HEY!
YOU'RE ALL PISSING ME OFF OUT THERE! SOMEONE GET ME SOME MORE COVERS!
At first I had no idea what she was honking about, then I realized...hmmm...it's a little cold in here! I put her in our bed with the down comforter over her until Andy got the heat back on, and she enjoyed lying in our bed by herself, looking around like a queen.
"A big bed? All to myself? With a dog at the foot of it? Now this is living!"
She's in for a surprise when she wakes up again tomorrow morning and is back in her crib.

Prom
Quinn went over to her cousin Maureen's house to help see her off to Prom.
She only got a little bit of drool on her dress.
Pretty bunnies!!
Then we went out to dinner. Quinn fell in love with the menu.
"That will be mine. I will capture it."
"And then I will gum it to death!"
Oh, and Quinn's two bottom front toofers have popped up! Yay for toofers! One step closer to eating Fruity Pebbles with mama!!
