More new pictures
I took a bunch of pictures today, after Quinn came to me wanting me to put her pink sunglasses on her. Then we had a photo shoot on the stairs.

Potty training begins
Two days ago, while I was getting Quinn dressed after her morning bath, she asked to sit on her potty. She's had a potty chair for awhile now, and she sits on it in the morning sometimes, mostly so she can relax over a few books, a habit learned from her father, I'm sure. When she got up I glanced in and was shocked to see actual output.
"SOMEBODY MADE SOME PEEPS! DID YOU MAKE PEEPS ON THE POTTY, QUINN?" I roared. "DADDY, COME HERE AND SEE HER PEEPS! SHE MADE THEM! ON HER POTTY!" Andy hurried in, half-dressed, and I showed him what she'd done. By this point, Quinn was off in the corner of her room, clearly alarmed by my hysteria.
"YAAAAAAAAAY!" I cried, gesturing to Andy to join me in my applause. "GOOD GIRL, QUINN! GOOD PEEPIN'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Quinn screamed, falling to the ground, completely overwhelmed by the scene I was making. She continued to scream until I left the room.
"Do you think she was proud?" I asked Andy excitedly a few minutes later.
"Not as proud as you were," he said. "I'm surprised you didn't try to save it."
This morning she asked to sit on the potty chair again, and got up a few minutes later announcing that she'd made peeps. I looked, and she did! And this time she was excited about it! She tried to make some more in celebration, but she was all done. We had many discussions throughout the morning about the peepin' she'd done.
Later today we were in Toys R Us buying a birthday present, and I asked her if she wanted to get some Dora underwear. Did she?!? Here she is, modeling them for you!
We don't have any good shots of her wearing them that aren't pornographic, so you'll just have to enjoy this close-up of her face (note the dirty pudding-mouth) while she sat on her potty.
Before she goes to bed each night we do this family dance in her room (I could saddle you with the story of how it began, but I won't):
and Quinn always has to get the big white bear inolved. ALWAYS. The dance is not complete until the white bear is dragged into the situation.
Finally we plopped her pudding-faced self in bed. Night night!

Whew
Cooper was escorted back home by his Grandma Lester today. I told Andy that maybe it wouldn't be so bad if Quinn were an only child. I love Cooper, but whew! It's tiring taking care of two at once.
And don't even post your hardship stories...my mom had seven, and my aunt had six under six (two sets of twins in a row). So I know from hardship. It's still tiring taking care of two.
Andy is out of town tonight, so I put Quinn to bed at 6:45 p.m. and I am going to be following her shortly.
Ahhhhhhhhhh...silence.

Bonding
Things Quinn has said to her cousin Cooper since he arrived last night to spend a few days with us:
"Hi Dude!"
"Don't worry! It's OK!" (when he cried)
"Nice to meet you!" (when she woke up this morning and found he is still here)
"He's SO CUTE!"
"Get him a bottle!" (when he cried) "Put it in his mouth!"
